Recognition for 35 Academy players

The club would like to congratulate the 35 Academy players who took part in a very successful week, competing in the Super Cup NI. Every single player did themselves proud and you are all a credit to your families and the club.

The club had players representing every County, including two who joined up with First Choice soccer and six players competing a year young with ClubNI in the junior section.

The players are as follows;

Special mention has to go to the 7 players involved with the Co Antrim junior squad who won the tournament conceding just 1 goal along the way. Congratulations to you all on such a historic and superb achievement.

There was even more to celebrate for the academy with three of our players winning personal awards.

Darren Hyland - Co Antrim, won the Man of the Match award in the final with a sensational goal and a remarkable performance.

Chris McKee, - Co Antrim and Matty Lusty who represented ClubNI in the tournament a year young shared the golden boot award with 4 goals each.

Furthermore, Chris Mckee won the Player of the tournament award which capped of a great week for him personally.
