Health and Safety issue : Some Premier Seats
The Club has been advised by the Stadium Management Company, at short notice, that a Health and Safety issue has been identified in respect of the some of the South Stand Premier Seats which means these seats cannot be used at Saturday's game against Carrick Rangers.
The seats affected are the Premier Seats to either side of the main Central Block. Section SLG Rows T to K (seats 1-7) and Section SLE Rows T to K (seats 15-22).
The central block seats Section SLF directly in front of the Noel Bailie MBE suite are not affected.
The Noel Bailie MBE suite can be accessed in the normal manner at Saturday's game.
There are 140 seats affected in sections SLE and SLG and we have identified 82 seats in the front 3 rows of the central SLF block which can be used by those affected. Unfortunately, these will be for use on a first come, first served basis only for those Premier Seats holders whose SLE or SLG seats are affected. Obviously, there will potentially be insufficient seats to cover all those Premier Seat Holders affected by this issue and we would ask that those who cannot avail of a seat in these first 3 rows of SLF section find a seat elsewhere in the Stand for this game.
We appreciate this will matter will cause disappointment and frustration amongst a number of our Premier Seats Holders and the club can only apologise for the inconvenience this issue will cause but as the seats are a health and Safety concern, this matter is outside the club's control and the seats cannot be used at Saturday's game.
We would ask for supporters' co operation and ask Premier Seat Holders affected to only utilise the additional seats identified and we would appeal to them not to sit in any other premier seat (other than these front 3 rows) as those seats are already allocated and you would be asked to move when the allocated seat holder arrives.
The Stadium Management Company has assured us that the affected seats will be replaced as soon as possible and replacements have already been ordered. We would hope this work will be completed before our next home game v Ballymena United on Sat 26th August and we will keep supporters updated on this matter.
