Information regarding Tuesday's Windsor Park cup game

Posted : 12th March 2018 at 23:28:02

Match tickets for Tuesday's vital Irish Cup tie against Cliftonville will be on sale between 6.30pm and kick-off from the Ticket office at the rear of the Railway Stand.

Please arrive in good time and thereby avoid the frustration of long queues in the busy immediate pre-match period.

This is a huge game for Linfield FC and its important that all our supporters get right behind our team in a positive manner for the full duration of the 90 or 120 plus minutes.

The club has been working closely with the Supporters Trust with a view to trying to enhance the colour and atmosphere in the South Stand.

While this will be a longer term project, a start has been made and hopefully, these efforts will continue and intensify.

For Tuesday's game, a significant number of colourful flags have been made available and members of the Supporters Trust would ask for assistance from supporters who'd be willing to wave these colourful flags and work with them with their goal of creating a positive atmosphere to help drive our team on to hopefully more success.

Supporters who would be interested in getting involved are asked to come to door 9 towards the Kop end of the South stand where volunteers from the Supporters Trust will be distributing the shiny, colourful flags that the club has made available for this occasion and which are similar to what was in use at a recent international game.

The club would take this opportunity to thank the Supporters Trust volunteers who will be organising the distribution of the flags and Linfield FC would again encourage all our supporters to get right behind our team in a wholehearted, positive and United manner.
