On this April 14 date, Linfieldfc.com celebrates an Irish Cup final (and League and Cup double) success exactly 84 years ago today, way back in 1934.
This anniversary article continues our series paying tribute to the playing career of the legendary "Head, heel or toe, slip it to Joe" - the goalscorer supreme, Joe Bambrick.

Only the Gold Cup and City cup eluded Linfield in that successful season but Joe still managed a further 16 goals in the 12 out of 13 league style City Cup games he played in.
His City cup goal scoring highlights included
5 goals in an 8-1 home win against Newry Town on April 21.
Hat-tricks in a 5-1 home win against Glenavon on April 2 and a 6-2 win away to Larne on April 28.
