Linfield FC wants to thank the large numbers of supporters who turned out for the recent Boxing Day game.
There were 7000 supporters in attendance at Windsor Park, with approximately 4500 in the South and Kop Stands and approximately 2500 in the North Stand.
There were large numbers of tickets sold of our new 50/50 ballot tickets.
There were large numbers of Match Day programmes sold.
In a first for Linfield Football Club, we publish below an online version of our match day programme from the recent Boxing Day game.
We do so for the benefit of many of our supporters abroad (and many at home) who were unable to attend what was a hugely enjoyable game and occasion.
Hopefully, the online issue of ‘Look at Linfield’ below will be a nice souvenir and reminder of our match day experience.
We also print the online version of this programme to encourage more and more supporters to buy upcoming issues of ‘Look at Linfield, starting with the upcoming games against Ballyclare Comrades and Warrenpoint Town.
And we also hope this online version will encourage supporters to buy back issues of this season’s programmes which are on sale at present in the Linfield Superstore.
And we provide this online version of ‘Look at Linfield’ to emphasise and reiterate our support for the PSNI’s scamwise appeal. We promoted their leaflet both in the programme and on the match day scoreboard and we would again draw supporters’ attention to the PSNI leaflet on page 29 of the programme below. It is vital that everyone follows PSNI advice and no one falls victim of an increasingly large number of scams in circulation.
‘Look at Linfield’ has drawn a lot of favourable comment and feedback for its new look, new features and new contributors this season but it is essential in this era of declining numbers of publications and sales, both locally and ‘across the water’, that it continues to receive your support on a Windsor Park match day.
