In September it will be 50 years exactly since Linfield famously met Manchester City in the first round of the European Cup Winners Cup.
City won the first leg 1-0, with Linfield winning the Windsor Park return leg 2-1 to be eliminated on the away goals rule.
However, it's the programme cover from another meeting between the two clubs on tomorrow's date of June 9 back in 1947 which features in today's Monday morning memory lane image (1).
The match details are below, with the Linfield team for the friendly boosted by the inclusion of several players with cross channel clubs.
