Posted : 29th September 2017 at 11:29:45

September is Alopecia Awareness Month so to help local charity Helping Alopecia Trust (HAT), Linfield invited them down to Windsor Park before training on Thursday evening where players Mark Stafford, Andrew Mitchell and Jordan Stewart were happy to pose in their charity t-Shirts.

The photo will be used on the Helping Alopecia Trust Facebook page to ask people to like and share it to help raise the profile of the charity and to raise awareness about the condition.

Alopecia means hair loss and can affect anyone (men and women) at any age. It can range from small patches on your head to complete body hair loss. 1 person in 50 is affected by the condition. Former Italian referee Pierluigi Collina is probably the most famous person in football circles that is affected by the condition.

Helping Alopecia Trust offer help and support to anyone who is affected by the condition by organising support meetings and other events throughout the year.

For more information about the charity visit and to help them ‘raise awareness’, just like the Facebook page and share their photo.
