P6 pupil Zac from Killinchy Primary School in County Down recently wrote to David Healy as part of a curriculum project and he got a welcome but pleasant surprise when his reply from the Linfield manager came in the form of a personal visit on Wednesday.

Below is the kind letter of appreciation from the school which was received at the club following the visit and a few photos and an extract from the Newtownards newspaper also follow.

"Just a quick note of thanks regarding David’s visit to Zac at Killinchy Primary School on Wednesday.

Thank you SO much for facilitating us. You have helped make a child’s dream come true and a memory that will last forever. In fact, I would say it delighted and inspired a great many of the children at school.

Thank you for organising this and please pass the school's sincere and my personal thanks on to David. He went above and beyond yesterday and we are truly grateful.

There are a few photos below which the school has also tweeted.

Zac has asked me to pass the message on to David that he will be attending his first Linfield match on Saturday and will look out for him.

Once again very many thanks"
