Linfield forms new partnership with Carrickfergus Manor

Linfield FC and Carrickfergus Manor have joined forces in a new partnership that will see this club making a small number of tickets available free of charge on a regular basis for Carrickfergus Manor carers and residents to attend Windsor Park league games as welcome guests of the club.

The initiative is evidence of Linfield's ongoing commitment to serve the community, with Carrickfergus Manor having advised the club of a number of residents in their care who have identified themselves as Linfield supporters and who would benefit from and enjoy such supervised visits to Windsor Park.

On Thursday evening Carrickfergus Manor will be officially opening a new sports themed room decorated with various football memorabilia for their residents to relax and unwind in, with the room to be known as the 'Albert Arms'.

Linfield FC will be represented at the event, to further develop the relationship between the club and the care home and hopefully, a brief report and photo will be available afterwards.

Linfield FC is fully supportive of the work being undertaken by the staff at Carrickfergus Manor to look after the individuals in their care and the club looks forward to welcoming carers and residents to Windsor Park games when the occasions are convenient for them.

On behalf of Carrickfergus Manor James Lunn added “I am very grateful for the support of Linfield FC and I can't wait to see the positive effects the partnership will have in the very near future.”
