Linfield FC are delighted to announce a new partnership with local Northern Amateur Football League club Kelvin Old Boys. The partnership should see Kelvin Old Boys play their home matches at New Midgley Park, Windsor Way during their 2019/20 season, whilst both clubs will develop a community engagement profile aimed at supporting club development and the local community.
A long established club, Kelvin Old Boys have been forced to play away from South Belfast for almost 20 years since the school and pitch closed. Linfield Chairman Roy McGivern met with representatives of Kelvin yesterday evening to formally sign off on the partnership agreement.
“I am delighted that we have entered into this partnership. We have had a lot of interest in the New Midgley Park facility on Windsor Way, and only now are we able to move forward on this type of support for the local community, alongside our internal club needs”
