On Monday last Linfield Ladies FC hosted a farewell evening at the Hilton Hotel in Templepatrick for the three visiting Champions League teams from Poland, Finland and Dublin, as well as the UEFA and refereeing delegations.
A number of presentations were made during the course of what was a highly enjoyable and successful evening, featuring culture, music and dance.

Below - The Ronnie Morrison sponsored Player of the Tournament award was presented to 25 year old senior Polish international Natalia Pakulska of Medyk Konin. Her decisive goal in the 2-1 win against the Finns PK-35 Vantaa helped win the group for the Poles.
Earlier in the summer Belfast crystal produced a superb souvenir gift for Celtic to mark the occasion of their Champions League game in Belfast. This was quite remarkable, considering their premises had just been destroyed by fire.
In recognition of this tremendous 'business as usual' Belfast spirit, Belfast crystal were asked by Linfield Ladies to produce five special souvenir gifts to be presented on the evening.
The five souvenir Belfast crystal gifts including the two featured above, were presented by Linfield's five Under 19 international players who represented their country during the recent European Championship tournament which was hosted here in Northern Ireland.
