Adam Salley signs for Portadown

Adam Salley (born 7-2-297) was a former Under 17 international.

On 31 August 2013 Adam scored 2 goals as Northern Ireland U17s defeated Slovakia 3-1 in the Syrenka Cup in Poland.

Adam scored in the first minute of a 3-1 u17 qualifier victory v Luxembourg at Solitude on November 16, 2013. Also played in 1-0 defeat by Latvia 48 hours earlier at Dungannon.

Adam scored the winning goal in Linfield Rangers' 1-0 Youth League Cup final win v Glentoran at Seaview in May 2015.

Adam, from Banbridge, signed a one year contract extension on June 1, 2015.

He made his first team debut as a late sub in a 4-0 home win v Ballymena on August 8, 2015.

He signed a new 2 year professional contract on August 11, 2015.

He scored his first and what turned out to be his only Linfield goal as a sub in a 5-1 home win v Dungannon on Saturday August 15, 2015.

He joined Carrick Rangers on loan on January 11, 2016 until the end of the season.

His first goal in his loan spell with Carrick was in a 4-3 win against Crusaders on March 22, 2016.

He was Carrick Player of the Month for March and scored for them in a 1-1 draw v Warrenpoint on April 2, 2016.

He signed a season long loan with Carrick Rangers on August 25, 2016.

On May 8, 2017 Adam was advised his Linfield contract was not being extended and he subsequently signed for Portadown.

In total, he made 12 Linfield appearances (including 10 as sub) scoring 1 goal.
