In a follow up to a recent news item appealing for members / season ticket holders to contact the club, if they would be changing category next season and therefore require a new card, another important issue on a related issue is drawn to supporters attention in the latest in what will be a series of updates regarding members / season tickets for the new season.
This time last year all existing members / season tickets were automatically reordered with the printer and issued to supporters upon receipt of payment.
The existing cards will remain operational in the season ahead, once renewal payment has been made.
A significant number of season tickets were not bought however and have therefore remained uncollected for the duration of the season drawing to an end.
The season tickets are mainly in the junior ticket category (80) but also include adult (20), senior (30), young adult (10) and Youth (10).
At the end of May these 150 cards will be deleted from the club data base, meaning the cards will be cancelled and unable to be issued.
The club is asking any season ticket holder who did not renew last season but who intends buying a season ticket for the season ahead to get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
before the end of May so that an existing valid card is not cancelled and deleted from the data base and the supporter would have to wait until a new replacement card is received from the printer at the start of the new season, if the order was received by mid July.
Linfield FC appreciates the cooperation of our supporters in this matter and while the club was delighted to have over 2500 members / season ticket holders in the season drawing to a close, it is also disappointed that these 150 did not renew and they would be more than welcome back at Windsor Park next season.
