Following excellent co-operation between this club, Institute FC, Derry City and Strabane District Council and the PSNI dating back to early July, Linfield FC is delighted to advise our supporters that we have secured the 1000 tickets that were requested for our supporters for our eagerly anticipated game against Institute at the Brandywell at 1pm on Saturday November 18.
The tickets will go on sale, initially to club members only on production of their members card in the Linfield office in the Railway Stand.
Members will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets on both Thursday and Friday of this week.
Members can ring and pay by phone, provided they produce their members card when collecting their ticket but members are asked to patient, if they cannot get through on the phone because there is a queue of members in the office purchasing tickets.
The office hours are 10am until 4pm except for lunch break of 1pm until 1.30pm.
From Saturday, members and season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets on production of their members or season ticket.
Tickets are strictly one per member or season ticket holder.
The match arrangements are as follows.
This match is All-Ticket and all Linfield supporters travelling to this game are to assemble at Drumahoe Park and Ride in Londonderry. This is situated on the A6 Glenshane Rd, a short distance beyond the old Institute ground in Drumahoe.
Supporters can park their cars at this location and transfer to private buses which have been booked by this club.
When members and season ticket holders buy match tickets, they will be allocated a bus number and they must travel on that bus. Tickets will be checked prior to boarding each bus.
An Eventsec steward and a club steward will be on board each of the buses.
It is envisaged that the buses will depart for the Brandywell around 12 noon, so supporters should ensure that they arrive at Drumahoe Park and Ride, no later than 11.45am.
No Linfield supporters will be permitted to drive directly to the stadium and there will be no parking there for private cars.
The cost of tickets is £13 for adults or £9 for concession which includes a £2 bus transfer fee from Drumahoe to the Brandywell and back.
Supporters clubs can travel direct from Belfast or elsewhere to the Brandywell but they are required to meet at Drumahoe Park and Ride by 11.45 am where they will join the rest of the convoy to the Brandywell.
All supporters clubs will be responsible for their members on the buses which will be checked by PSNI officers in Drumahoe.
Several supporters clubs may submit lists of members and appropriate payment to the club to facilitate easier collection of group tickets. The cost of tickets for those travelling on supporters club buses will be £11 and £7 concession.
All supporters clubs intending to travel to the Brandywell using their own transport are required to advise the club of this intent as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org
In due course, all supporters clubs will be required to provide a full list of all their members travelling on their buses to the Brandywell.
Any individual supporter buying a ticket but intending to travel on a Supporters club bus will have the name of that Supporters club recorded on the ticket, instead of the bus number of the club arranged transport.
This club has worked tirelessly to ensure that the maximum number of Linfield supporters are able to attend this game and to ensure their safe access to and egrees from the recently redeveloped Brandywell stadium.
This club would acknowledge with gratitude the assistance of all those who’ve worked with us in an excellent spirit of cooperation and accommodation.
As always, Linfield FC will rely on our loyal supporters to show their support for the club in the traditional sporting manner and it is vital that our supporters cooperate fully with stewards and club officials or staff during the course of what will hopefully be an enjoyable and successful day.
