Linfield under 11s in County Dublin
Our u11s took part in Swords Celtic tournament yesterday, just north of Dublin. Narrowly finishing 2nd in their group with Shamrock Rovers, Evergreen FC and Swords Celtic B, they played the Crues in the Semi Final. The lads played some great stuff but a couple of silly mistakes, and some outstanding goalkeeping from the Crues keeper unfortunately cost us the game. The lads finished 3rd overall after beating Swords Celtic A in a playoff, the win coming after a very tense penalty shootout to end the tournament on a high.
Over three hours of football played in warm conditions so the boys deserve huge credit for their efforts. Great day had by all.
