On Tuesday evening the Linfield Academy hosted Andersonstown Community FC in a series of friendlies as a night of Fundraising for Niall McCahey and the event was a great success.
Aside from the 4 friendly games between the 2 clubs in which every child played with a smile on their face, a raffle and a bbq were held to help raise funds towards Nialls upcoming treatment.
Thanks to the Andersonstown club for bringing their teams across to make the night possible.
At the end of the evening head of youth Glenn Ferguson handed over a sum in excess of £1000 to young Niall and his mother - an amount that was raised on the night, the smile on both of their faces showed just how much it meant to them.
The Academy want to say a massive thank you to all those who attended the event and helped raise a huge amount of money for such a great cause.
