David Healy provides an update.
“I just want to let our supporters know we are in regular contact with all of our players and staff during this very challenging and difficult time and thankfully, everyone seems to be bearing up well and coping as best they can with these totally unprecedented set of circumstances.
Three of our backroom staff - Tim Atkinson (doctor), Terry Hayes (sports therapist) and Paul Butler (physio) work for us in a medical capacity and I’m aware and grateful that they and no doubt many club volunteers and supporters, are playing their part in the medical response to this national and indeed global emergency.
I just want to urge everyone to stay safe during this very tough period.
We all need to do what we are being asked to do by the authorities, to help get us through this pandemic.
Wash your hands
Stay at home
Ensure you social distance
Support the NHS
Help save lives by following all guidelines
We can’t get wait for this crisis to be over and for life to begin to get back to normality which would enable us to get back to playing football again.
We just want to appeal to all our supporters to look after themselves during the upcoming weeks and months. When we return to playing football, we will want to see all our supporters back with us, so it’s vital that everyone follows the expert medical advice that will help get us through these challenging times”
