David Healy announces news of a contract extension for Conor Pepper.
“I’m delighted to be able to advise our supporters that Conor Pepper has become the first of what we hope will be several players to agree an extended contract, to take effect upon the expiry of their existing contract at the end of the current season.
Conor has agreed an additional two years on top of his existing contract and it’s an indication of how happy he is at the club.
He’s a hugely popular player in the changing room with all his team mates and staff and even though he’s been injured for several months, he’s been a very positive influence to everyone in and around training and on match days.
He’s worked hard to get himself back to fitness after a frustrating injury and hopefully, he will be able to come into contention for a place in the first team squad early in the new year.
I’ve no doubt that Conor can make a significant contribution to the club, on and off the pitch during the course of this richly deserved extended contract.
I want to thank Conor and David Campbell Sports management for their cooperation in bringing this matter to a positive outcome.”
