Statement from Linfield Football Club

Posted : 17th March 2020 at 15:56:16

Linfield Football Club continues to monitor the up to date advice from Government and the public health authorities to ensure the safety, well-being and welfare of our players, staff, officials and supporters.

At present it is not expected that the office in the Railway Stand will need to be open to the public until the current situation becomes much clearer.

Furthermore, the Windsor Superstore will be closed to the public until further notice.

Any supporter who needs advice or assistance from the club during this period of office and Superstore closure is asked to contact either of the following.

General Manager - Pat Fenlon -

Honorary Secretary / Media Director - Andy Conn -

We will continue to keep the ongoing situation under close review in relation to all planned events over the coming weeks and months.

During these unprecedented times, the club would encourage the Linfield family to do what it can to look out for, and support each other and in particular, the most vulnerable people in our communities. We have a tremendous reach into the community, with Linfield supporters clubs in many areas of the country and we would ask those clubs to consider what support and practical help they can safely provide in their local area. This might be simply offering reassurance to elderly relatives or neighbours or providing some practical help such as shopping, collecting prescriptions or checking in. Such actions can alleviate much anxiety, stress and risk. Please act at all times within the current Public Health Agency advice and look after yourselves and each other.
