The Linfield squad left Chopin airport in Warsaw by charter aircraft after last night’s UEFA Champions League game and arrived home in Belfast in the middle of the night.

The team turned in a hugely impressive performance in the fine surroundings of the Legia stadium in Warsaw and every supporter of this club can feel justly proud of the efforts of every squad and staff member who gave their all on a right to remember in Warsaw.

Linfield FC would like to acknowledge the following for their significant contribution to what was a hugely enjoyable and memorable trip to Warsaw.

- Hotel Mercure in central Warsaw for such a comfortable stay.

- Charter airline Jota for smooth flights

- Our travel agent Tim Campbell of Club world travel.

- Our hosts in Legia Warsaw FC who were very accommodating and easy to work with in match arrangements and who we wish every success in their upcoming rounds.

Linfield now enter the Europa League draw on 31 August and will play on September 17 in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.
