Reminder of charity collection before Saturday’s game

1st South Belfast LSC

Members of our club 1st South Belfast LSC will be having a bucket collection outside the ground this coming Saturday, prior to the home game against Cliftonville (our members will be at both the home and away ends collecting).

As most Linfield fans will be well aware, our club has long supported ‘Cancer Fund For Children’ with numerous events over the past 10+ years raising tens of thousands of pounds in the process.

Once again, our club have put our name to the challenge of raising much needed funds - however this time we will be splitting all monies raised 2 ways.

Club chairman John Hewitt and club member Derek Yearl have decided they are going to do a SKYDIVE from a plane in January and all monies raised will be split between ‘Cancer Fund For Children’ and young ‘Zion Cassidy’ who requires specialised cancer treatment and whose dad is a regular attendee at Linfield games, home and away.

We know times are hard for a lot of people at present but come Saturday, we would like to ask any Linfield and Cliftonville fans to give whatever you can to help us raise as much money as possible for our 2 fantastic causes.

We would like to thank Linfield FC in advance for giving us this opportunity to have this bucket collection and we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

Kind Regards
Club Secretary
Johnny Adams
