Linfield Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting partnership with a new ticketing partner called Future Ticketing for the forthcoming season.
This new partnership will mean that our loyal supporters will be able to purchase their Members', Season tickets and match day tickets online and will offer supporters a massive step up in terms of efficiency and cost savings.
Linfield General Manager Pat Fenlon commented, “We’ve been in discussions with Future Ticketing for several months now as we sought to improve the matchday experience for supporters in purchasing tickets for games whilst utilising modern technology. We also had to overcome a major challenge in that the new partner needed to be able to tailor their solution to work with the existing turnstile technology at Windsor Park. By partnering with Future Ticketing, we believe we have found the best partner for this club, and we look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead.”
Linfield Chairman Roy McGivern commented “I am really pleased that we can make this announcement which is another significant step forward in our plans to modernise the club, on and off the pitch. Future Ticketing is a global provider of cloud-based, digital ticketing for events, sports organisations and venues, so we were very impressed with their already very well-established credentials.
We have received regular feedback from supporters groups about the need to improve how we offered tickets, and our team of workers behind the scenes have been working extremely hard on this project. I know that they’ve been very impressed with how Future Ticketing have responded to our requirements and I believe that the new online system which we will host on our website will be a massive benefit for our supporters.
With the new Future Ticketing solution, supporters will be able to purchase tickets via their mobile phone and scan them at the turnstiles within the stadium. This will eliminate the requirement to queue on match days for tickets with the added benefit that the tickets can be downloaded electronically to your mobile phone without any additional fees. This is truly a win-win for our supporters.”
Supporters are advised that the first step to moving across to the new Future Ticketing Platform will be for existing
Members and Season Ticket Holders to register
Please note that no charges
will be applied at this time.
This registration process is solely required to help us prepare for the transition to the new Future Ticketing Platform.
On completion of the registration
process, each supporter will receive an email with a registration document which will contain a number and barcode which will be needed to carry out the actual renewal once Season Ticket prices are agreed at our forthcoming AGM.
Please ensure you keep your registration document in a safe place as you will need the barcoded number to pay for your renewal once the system goes Live over the next few weeks.
