Important information relating to the reintroduction of Linfield season tickets

Posted : 5th August 2021 at 18:13:00

After an unprecedented (but successful) season when Linfield FC was not in a position to offer season tickets for sale, as they wouldn't have been able to be used for the purpose for which they were intended, the club will be making season tickets for the upcoming 2021-22 season available for purchase from the online ticketing section of this website from 1pm tomorrow (Friday).

The last time these season tickets were made available for purchase two years ago, they were tremendous value and to help offset some of the disappointment that they weren’t available last year, they are even better value this year, as in most of the categories there are price reductions from the great value price of 2 years ago.

These reductions are on a 'one off' basis, due to the exceptional circumstances of the past season.

The season tickets are offered on the understanding that supporters will be able to gain access to home games but after the experiences of the past year, this is clearly an undertaking that this club cannot guarantee.

The categories of season tickets remain unaltered from 2 years previously and the numerous supporters who’ve been contacting us asking us when and how they can apply for season tickets, are urged to begin the online application process some time after 1pm on Friday August 6.

Season ticket prices for 2021-22 season

Adult - £140 (down from £160)

Senior (over 65) - £60 (down from £70)

Young adult (18-21) - £90 (down from £110)

Youth (16-18) - £50 (down from £60)

12-16 - £30 (unchanged)

Junior (under 12) - £10 (unchanged)

Procedure for applicants

To try and avoid some of the confusion that has arisen over the past year, and to try and keep this process as straightforward as possible, ALL applicants (whether renewal or new or lapsed) are being asked to complete a simple application form online.

Supporters who have been registered on the club's data base with both Ticket master and more recently with Future Ticketing, will not be disadvantaged, as a result of this need to ask ALL our season ticket applicants to submit a fresh application.

New applicants applying for age related discounted season tickets, will be required to provide evidence of date of birth upon collection of their card.

New season ticket cards

Ahead of the opening League game, the club will aim to print new season tickets and details of collection arrangements will be provided on later this month.

The season ticket cards will celebrate the upcoming centenary of the 1921-22 Seven Trophy team whose photo will be featured on the card.

In the week ahead, there will be a very limited Linfield presence in the Windsor Park stadium, due to the UEFA Super Cup final between Chelsea and Villarreal and also as the Linfield squad will be in Luxembourg for our UEFA Conference League third round, second leg tie with CS Fola Esch.

All ticket enquiries should therefore be directed to and they will be answered in the order in which received. Please do not call in person or ring the Linfield landline. Please provide phone number in any emails.

Members, life and senior members

The procedure for renewal of members, senior and life members is well underway via this website and those members who have still to do so, are encouraged to renew before the deadline, in accordance with the club rules.

The patience of members awaiting collection of new cards later this month, is appreciated.

Season ticket holders who recently applied for membership

A number of season ticket holders have recently applied for club membership in response to an announcement on this website.

Those supporters are asked to await the outcome of their application, before applying for a season ticket, or alternatively, if successful, renewing their season ticket as a members ticket.

Match day arrangements

Seating arrangements within Windsor Park on our match days are still being determined and further details will be provided later this month.

Supporters are asked for patience and understanding to assist the club with the major undertaking of processing an expected large volume of season ticket applications.

Restrictions affecting attendance at football games have only recently been relaxed and everyone at this club is looking forward to the day when even further relaxations can take place safely and allow us all to return to what we once knew as normal.

Until then, the patience and understanding of our supporters will continue to be appreciated and relied on.
